Gable Hall
Gable Hall is a mixed comprehensive 11-16 school, with 1200 on roll. It has a specialism in Performing Arts, Applied Learning and Gifted and Talented.
The main objective of partnership with the employer is to add real context to the Society, Health and Development Diploma curriculum. Once they learnt that the Basildon University Trust Hospital's training courses dovetailed with Society, Health and Development units, an agreement was reached that they would deliver some of the principle learning units on topics, e.g. safeguarding, communication, equality and diversity. This delivery involves examination of case studies.
