World of Work week is a high-impact, week-long programme of work- and career-related activities, designed to develop and progress children's awareness, knowledge and skills for the world of work and adult life. The programme involves focused daily sessions for each primary school year group and opportunities to engage with real workplaces and world of work visitors. There are three elements to the Work Week programme: classroom-based sessions, World of Work visitor sessions, and workplace visits.
